How safe is to give your personal information on websites such as facebook, my space and any others? What’s the limit for you?

I'm so worried of be careful with my personal information, so I don't show mi number of cellphone, I just put in the websites my e-mail because that is more secure because I can block persons that could bother me. Also I can't accept any person in social networks, I have to meet their, that's my limit.
